I’m Brandon Losacker, the Cincinnati filmmaker behind Montages in Motion. I’ve spent more than 20 years turning family photos and home videos into films with humor, heart and music that lands.
You work directly with me, from the first note to the final file. I handle the sequencing, pacing and polish, keep the review process clear, and coordinate the delivery with the person running the screen.

We confirm the brief, price and schedule first. You or the family share the selected material. I edit, gather the agreed rounds of consolidated feedback and deliver the file with time for a playback check. No editing workload for your team.

Can I refer a family directly?
Yes. Introduce us by email or share the mitzvah page. I handle the creative conversation, quote, editing and family review. With the family’s permission, I coordinate delivery and playback requirements with you.
Can you work under our brand?
Yes. For an agreed white-label project, your business owns the client relationship, collects feedback and presents the film under your name. I invoice your business at the privately agreed production rate. I do not contact your client unless invited.
How do partner rates work?
Direct family celebration montages are $1,500–$3,000; elaborate cinematic commissions begin at $4,950. Private production rates depend on the creative brief, supplied material, review responsibilities and deadline. We agree on the rate and scope before you promise a price to your client. There is no subscription, minimum volume or automatic referral commission.
How early should we bring you in?
Ideally 6–8 weeks before the event. Editing usually takes 2–4 weeks after complete, usable materials arrive and the brief is approved. I confirm availability, review dates and final delivery before booking. Rush requests are considered individually.
What do you need from us?
An event date, a little about the person, couple or occasion, the intended screening moment and your preferred working arrangement. Once booked, share the selected digital photos and clips through Drive, Dropbox or an agreed method. Choose one person to consolidate feedback. No private family uploads are needed for the first inquiry.
Will the film work with our playback setup?
A standard 1080p MP4 is included. Share the screen format and playback requirements before editing. I deliver in advance of the agreed event deadline so your DJ or venue can download and test the file. Special formats and additional cuts are scoped separately; on-site playback is handled by your event team.
What about music and family privacy?
Music is selected and cleared for the agreed screening and sharing use. Commercial-song requests need appropriate clearance and may affect cost or timing. Families authorize the supplied material; portfolio use requires separate permission. File access and retention are agreed when booking.
What kinds of events do you support?
Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, mitzvahs, graduations, retirements, reunions and other parties or celebrations. A focused Celebration Montage is $1,500–$3,000 across these occasions; more involved films have their own quote. The work happens remotely, with Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky as home base.
